Designed for current community volunteers and professional staff from nonprofit and for-profit sectors, including board members and other decision-makers, Leadership Advantage provides targeted, specialized training in an affordable and accessible manner.

Participants will choose three out of the workshops listed below.

*Workshops C-H will be offered twice in the morning.
*Workshops A & B and I & J will be offered once in the afternoon.

Workshop A: The Leadership Partnership
Learn about the critical partnership between the CEO and the Board Chair which is often misunderstood. Explore how this relationship can be leveraged when the responsibilities for leadership are negotiated and executed.

Workshop B: Effective Hiring and Retention Strategies

Workshop I: Investments for your Organization's Future
We may not be able to predict a market collapse, but there are steps we can take to ensure the organization is fiscally sound and secure.

Workshop J: Legal and Ethical Responsibilities
Issues of a legal or ethical matter are sometimes difficult to address. Learn effective ways to handle these delicate matters to ensure your personal and organizational mission, vision and values are not compromised.
