Library Operations Coordinator

The Operations Coordinator is the chief assistant to the Executive Director. May act in place of the Executive Director in managing the Library's services and facility in accordance with the Library's Mission and Strategic plan. Assists and advises the Executive Director with library operations and oversees adult program components. This individual will possess knowledge of book and non-book materials, and demonstrate competency to work using Microsoft Word products, current technology and electronic devices. He or she will take initiative in generating new ideas, and demonstrate an ability to work successfully with staff members and the public. He or she will have a professional demeanor, be pleasant to work with, display good judgment and be dependable. The position is part-time and requires some evening and weekend hours.
