Part-Time Supportive Services Coordinator

Tabor Community Services, a non-profit organization providing programs and services in housing and financial counseling in Lancaster County, is seeking a part time Supportive Services Coordinator.

The successful applicant for this part time position will have the patience and compassion to work with individuals and families who reside at rental communities who need support to maintain their housing and guidance in other areas. Necessary skills include active listening, ability to help clients identify their personal strengths, creative thinking and problem solving. Other relevant skills include budget counseling, tenant/landlord education, familiarity with community resources, case management experience and proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel. Strong written and verbal skills essential.

Required Qualifications
Education: 2 years of post-secondary education required, Bachelors degree preferred
Experience: One year of relevant experience required; two or more years preferred (Please refer to the Basic Functions and Essential Functions on the full job description)
Understanding of the interests and concerns of property managers
Knowledge or understanding of tenants rights and responsibilities Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and service providers
A conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change
A commitment to empowering others to solve their own problems Valid drivers license and legal vehicle that is registered, inspected and insured
Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is an added asset
