Executive Director

Provide strategic oversight for the operations of the Kidney Foundation of Central PA and to ensure efficiencies in philanthropic efforts.

Professional Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in health, human services, policy, and/or management.

- Five (5) years of managerial and operations experience.

- Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship building skills.

- Proven experience in business operations.

- Proven experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors.

- Proven experience in healthcare finance.

- Proven experience in working with a donor software platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all business operations of organization (personnel, financial, marketing, etc.)

- Ensure compliance is maintained with all appropriate policies and procedures.

- Facilitate administrative support to programs, projects and special projects.

- Actively participate in development, facilitation and execution of the strategic plan.

- Build relationships with key healthcare leaders in the community, including those in health systems, government agencies, local representatives, community leaders, dialysis centers and nephrology practices.

- Partner with community organizations to address community health needs.

- Engage in effective networking to raise awareness of the KFCP mission.

- Work with the KFPC executive leadership, board of directors, and standing committees. Attend BOD meetings as an ex-officio member.

- Serve as a liaison between KFCP and third-party service providers.

- Prepare and submit grant proposals to private and public
organizations to seek funding for KFCP programs and services.

- Serve as the administrative leader of fund raising initiatives. Maintain established fund raising events and develop new initiatives.

- Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Executive Committee Board of Directors.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
