Safe Haven Case Manager

The Housing and Homeless Department is seeking a full-time Case Manager for its Safe Haven Program. Safe Haven is a form of supportive housing serving women who have been chronically homeless. The Case Manager will provide case management and supportive services to participants and conduct monthly home-inspections.

Applicants must demonstrate:

The ability to work independently, utilize sound judgment, respond to crisis situations in a professional, skill manner.
The ability to multi-task
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to document case management notes
The ability to develop individualized goal plans, collect required program data, and submit monthly reporting requirements.

Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree in human services or related field and prior related work experience
Prior experience in crisis intervention, homelessness services, or mental health
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, clean driving history and proof of insurance
FBI, criminal and child abuse clearances also required (or the ability to obtain)
