AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Workshop Series

Nonprofit Resource Network is excited to partner with the Association for Fundraising Professionals-Central PA Chapter to offer Fundamentals of Fundraising Workshop Series. This series of seven workshops is designed to help nonprofit professionals and volunteers develop their fundraising skills and raise money more effectively and efficiently.

NRN Welcomes Hope Schmids

We are pleased to announce that Hope Schmids has joined the Nonprofit Resource Network as our new Director.

As Director, Hope will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations, including supervision of all NRN staff, researching and writing grants, developing new programs and partnerships, and providing strategic leadership and direction to the NRN to ensure continuous improvement, success and growth of programs. She will also provide stewardship to the NRN Advisory Group and oversee its subcommittees.

Hope served as Youth Project Coordinator at the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board and as Program Coordinator with the Lancaster-Lebanon Science and Technology Alliance.

She holds a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Creative Writing from LaSalle University.

This presentation focuses on improving both the fundraiser (via personal productivity hacks) and the fundraising (via planning, discovery, cultivation, solicitation & stewardship hacks).

Nonprofit Resource Network launches Fundraising Fellows

Are you looking for an opportunity to learn in a supportive environment among your peers?

The Nonprofit Resource Network is launching Fundraising Fellows, a facilitated, personalized, peer-learning group for fundraising professionals.

-Creative, stimulating and supportive conversations will deepen participants' knowledge of fundraising.
-The small group format (maximum of 15 participants) allows you to build relationships with your colleagues.
-Topical, facilitated sessions will provide resources and real world solutions.

When: Fundraising Fellows will meet monthly for 4 months as a cohort for two hour sessions. The Spring Series runs March - June 2016.
